Project Mathilda: Confidential Client
This confidential tech client wanted their newest office space in Silicon Valley to reflect their core brand principles and four personality traits of being bold, motivating, inclusive, and optimistic. Translating these principles into the physical space meant taking a deep dive into creating coherent and holistic concept boards, which could then tie back into a singular, overlying concept of The Road — inspired by Walt Whitman's poem, "Song of the Open Road." The top priority of user and visitor experience is reflected in the space's clear, functional, and modern design statements. The built environment vibrates of energy and music through the use of color, textures, and patterns. Like a well-planned city, the space planning concept of the 134,000 square foot space is intuitive to navigate. Requests from each business unit are realized through exploration hubs, collaboration campers, and a servery/dining area that also functions as an all-hands.
